Reporting repayment of sabbatical

Q. Our university has a policy whereby a faculty member who takes a sabbatical is required to remain at the university for two years upon their return. If they leave within the first year, 100% of the sabbatical is to be repaid. If they leave before the end of the second year, 50% of the sabbatical is to be repaid. In recent history, our university has never had to request repayment.
