Leadership Team

Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director

Brian Cuthbert is Executive Director of The Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM), a Diversified Communications business.

In this role, Mr. Cuthbert oversees all day to day operations and directs the growth strategy for IOFM, which is the leading provider of training, education and peer networking for financial operations professionals.

Currently, IOFM produces four certification programs, three leading membership networks, as well multiple conferences and regional events targeting financial operations professionals.

Prior to this position, Mr. Cuthbert served as Director of Sales for IOFM, where the company saw a three-fold revenue increase and gained significant market-share, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Diversified Communications.

Previously, Mr. Cuthbert served as Vice President at Chief Executive Group, where he was a member of the leadership team. During his tenure there he created customized programs to help organizations reach and engage CEOs at companies from $50 million in annual revenue through the Fortune 50.

Before his role at Chief Executive Group, Mr. Cuthbert was Vice President  & Publisher at Kennedy Information, as well as being part of the Executive Management team, reporting to its then parent company, BNA (now part of Bloomberg LLP).

In this role Mr. Cuthbert oversaw all content, product development and sales for multiple product lines targeting Professional Services Organizations (consulting, legal, accounting), and had P&L responsibility for 3 business units. His successes included launching the Consulting magazine Achievement Award franchise (now in its 8th year) and spearheading efforts to grow the “Best Firms to Work for Survey” from 6,000 responses to 15,000 annually.

Mr. Cuthbert graduated with a B.A. in Communication & Media Studies from Fordham University.

Megan Hall, Certification Manager

Megan Hall is the Certification Manager at IOFM, a Diversified Communications business.

In this role, Ms. Hall oversees all operations of IOFM’s four certification programs – including candidate experience, quality control and product development.

Under Ms. Hall’s leadership, the IOFM certification programs have moved into a SaaS based e-learning platform, providing an industry-leading best in class experience for all certification candidates. Certified professionals are now able to manage and track their CEUs through this online portal, removing all paper from the process.

Previously, Ms. Hall worked for IOFM’s parent company, Diversified Communications, in the marketing department supporting a variety of businesses.

She graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Lee University.
