AP Certification Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Opportunities

The Accredited Payables Manager (APM) or Accredited Payables Specialist (APS) designation is demonstration of your AP expertise. Your Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are proof to your supervisor, your colleagues, and most importantly to yourself that you have not just passed an exam, but continually strive to master new practices, rules and regulations to maintain your expertise.

The IOMA/TAPN AP Certification Programs require educational activities (CEUs) that help you achieve and maintain quality in your profession, and increase your professional competence.

CEUs are awarded for a wide array of learning opportunities: membership in TAPN, annual subscriptions to AP publications, participation in surveys, attendance at live events or audio conferences, article self-study testing, speaking at conferences, and more.

Continuing Education Opportunities

TAPN Membership (5 CEUs per year) – Take advantage of TAPN's original content, including best practices, benchmarking reports, case studies, Q&A networking forums, and hundreds of downloadable, customizable tools, and earn CEUs. Earns five CEUs each year membership is renewed.
Online Study and Testing (Up to 8 CEUs per year) – Read about current accounts payable issues and solutions, then take a five-question quiz on the article. Earns one CEU per article quiz passed.
Audio Conferences (1 CEU per each audio conference) – Join TAPN's popular audio conference series in which subject matter experts teach on a variety of important topics from 1099 compliance to vendor master file management. Each 60-minute audio conference earns one CEU.
Audio Conference Recordings (1 CEU per each audio conference) – Can't attend the live presentation? You can still earn CEUs by purchasing our popular audio conference programs on CD. Each 60-minute audio conference recording earns one CEU.
Industry Conferences (8 - 12 CEUs) – Check the AP Store for scheduled industry conferences, which offer a wealth of learning and CEU-earning opportunities. The Tax Information Reporting and AP Leadership Conference is now available.
Seminars (3-6 CEUs) – Half- and full-day seminars also qualify for CEUs. Available now in the AP Store you'll find an AP seminar series presented by IOMA. Remember TAPN members do recieve a discount!
TAPN's Guide to Unclaimed Property (3 CEUs) – Add this report to your resource/training library and reduce your company’s risk exposure by learning the do’s, don’ts and best practices for AP departments relating to unclaimed property. Earns 3 CEUs.
Benchmark Survey Participation (1 CEU per survey) – Check to see if TAPN has any active surveys underway. Participate on behalf of your organization and earn a CEU.
